  • Summary : A new office and light industrial development adjacent to Port Talbot Parkway train station to be built in three phases.

Famous as the factory that produced Rizla papers, the “number one rolling paper in the world” from the 1960s onwards, Rizla House now offers the cheapest office space in Treforest Industrial Estate providing flexibility for new and established businesses.

The A470 is easily accessible and provides direct links to Cardiff, Pontypridd, Merthyr Tydfil and J32 of the M4.

When Rizla production shifted to Belgium in 2007, the 80,000 sq ft factory was left run down and redundant.

RHP invested almost £500,000 improving and modernising the building, subdividing it into smaller units suited to start up and growing businesses.

In addition, large parts of the building were converted for a range of specialist purposes specific to individual tenant needs.

The works were completed in 2010 and units have been occupied by numerous companies as laboratory space, television studios, animation studios, offices, storage and even a bouldering centre.

There are often office/production suites – which variously feature suspended ceilings, VDU compatible lighting and electric heaters – available within in the building.  There is a 120-space car park to the rear of the property.

Suites are available on a flexible “easy-in’ “easy-out” basis.
