Property Development South Wales

Richard Hayward Properties has undertaken many significant development schemes. Some of our completed and ongoing schemes are outlined below. We are best known for our city centre regeneration projects creating mixed use leisure schemes and regeneration of disused industrial sites.

Millennium Plaza - Cardiff

Millennium Plaza was the first leisure development of this scale in Wales and has only since been matched by our development at Salubrious Place Swansea.
Millennium Plaza is a landmark building in Cardiff city centre immediately visible from the city’s main bus and rail stations. It provides an entertainment complex situated within Cardiff’s A3 leisure circuit immediately adjacent to the Millennium Stadium.
Millennium Plaza formed an integral part of the redevelopment of the Millennium Stadium and regeneration of that part of Cardiff city centre.
Millennium Plaza opened in December 2001 and provides approximately 135,113 sq ft of lettable leisure space let primarily to significant national multiple covenants.
The building comprises basement, ground and first floor which provide the main restaurant and bar/night club accommodation with a multiplex cinema located on two main upper levels. Tenants include Vue Cinemas, Northern Leisure and Regent Inns.
